Smokin Guns Paintball Team
A lile history about Smokin' Guns. We started as a gaming clan back in 2000 on PC and Dreamcast versions of Quake 3 Arena. We quickly became known as a gaming clan that worked well together without vocal communicaons in open DM games. This skill moved over into other games like Unreal Tournament and eventually onto consoles on Halo 2 and Killzone. As the founders got older and fell out of communicaon (unl Facebook), Mars (our Chicago member and myself kept the name alive, though a lot smaller as we were geng older, having kids, and prey much stopped playing video games. In 2016, I wanted to revitalize the name under my new passion of paintball, unsure how to go about being a paintball team, I came into contact with Raul Perez (1st Recon's Team Leader). He was impressed with my playing at Dark Ops in November 2016 that he was willing to recruit me and the few members I had at the me and adopt the legacy name as our own unit. I have made us a separate enty within 1st Recon with our own ranking, but at the same me, we are part of 1st Recon. I have kept all the of the same values from the gaming clan days and just adopted them to paintball. As of April 2018, we have separated from the Recon and spread our own wings. We are sponsorless from the team but we are housed at IRONBOUND field in Newark and sponsored by COUSINS PAINTBALL. Together with your help, we will connue to prosper and grow. We are part of the worldwide #magfedisfamily movement that is dedicated to helping grow MagFed and play all styles of paintball. Smokin’ Guns has branches in a few parts around the country.

Mike (MARS) : Chicago Team Leader - Handles team responsibilities. Primarily hopper fed, getting into MAGFED. Cory (Alpha): North Carolina Team Leader - Building the squad there. Running all types of players Jessica (Crash): Team baker - Dantera wife, and bakes for the team. Pistol player Ryan (Ranger): Runs shadow ops. Angel (Fury): Runs assault team. Jasmine (LADY): Runs defense.
Chris (Juggernaut): Runs defense and assault. Ethan (Deimos): The DEMON of the team. Dantera’s child. Good shot and runs hidden. Julian (Fenix): Runs assault. Future Albany Team Leader. And more...
Where do you play? How often?
We play practice and rec games at Cousins Manchester, Ironbound, and Long Live Englishtown. The distant guys plays at their local fields by them. We try to get out at least every 2 weeks. As for big games, the primary games are Zero Hour, Battlefield PA, Cell Team 6, DOMINION, and Kilo Six Nine. A few of us also play in Dark Ops twice year just to shoot hoppers and bring the word of Magfed to the open class. The whole team converges for Zero Hour every year.
Are you proficient in tech with any markers?
Dantera and Kris can tech any marker given to us. Dantera is also solder certified and can make any electronic gun circuit board better. All other team members can maintain their guns as necessary.
